Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant | Per Diem
About The Position
Allied Physicians Group is seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our best-in-class Pediatric Urgent Care Per Diem pool. As a Per Diem Mid-Level with Allied Physicians Group, you will provide urgent and episodic outpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents. You will diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced pediatric urgent care setting, reassure, educate, and clearly communicate to families during high-stress situations, and perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal. You will also collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and continuity of care, support telemedicine integration and patient-centered innovation initiatives, and utilize the athenaOne EMR for efficient clinical documentation.
Requirements
- NP or PA
- Active New York State License
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- PALS
- Strong clinical judgment and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
