Urgent Care EMT-B
About The Position
This position provides a wide range of assistive services to promote patient flow, patient informational gathering and patient care in the clinical setting. The EMT, under the direction of the supervision of the Clinic Manager and under the direction of the provider and/or nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, or Paramedic. Assists in providing quality care directly and indirectly. The EMT performs skills described and regulated by the Missouri Bureau of Emergency Medical Services via the authority of the Missouri Comprehensive Emergency Medical Services Act (Chapter 190, Missouri Revised Statutes 190.010 –190.245).
Requirements
- EMT-B certification
- Knowledge of skills regulated by the Missouri Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
