About The Position

HealthTrust is seeking a locum tenens Urgent Care APP for the CareNow facility in Lumberton, TX. Providers must be BC in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds, with an active TX license and TX DEA. The client is looking for a provider for full-time hours, and candidates must be local with no expenses. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in ER or UC, and Work Comp experience is preferred. DOT certification is helpful, and the ability to treat Peds 3 months and older is necessary. Shifts are available in various lengths (7, 8, 12, and 15 hours) throughout the week. The EMR system used is Practice Velocity.

Requirements

• BC in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds
• Active TX license
• Active TX DEA
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ER or UC
• Local candidates only (no expenses)
• Ability to treat Peds 3 months and older

Nice To Haves

• Work Comp experience
• DOT certification

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services
• Treat patients of all ages, including pediatrics from 3 months old and up
• Work with Work Comp cases (preferred)
• Utilize Practice Velocity EMR system
