Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a PRN- as needed position in our Urgent Care Clinic for a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant. Requirements
- Graduate of NLN accredited school or registered nursing.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing required.
- Must be licensed in the state of Iowa with a minimum of one year of experience.
- ACLS/BLS a plus; certification is required as an employee.
- Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
Responsibilities
- The advanced nurse practitioner provides primary health care in the family practice realm by developing the role as the care provider and coordinator, educator, and consultant.
- The nurse practitioner functions to provide continuity of care, coordinates referrals, and ensures comprehensive health care of patients according to their needs through prevention, treatment, symptom management and education.
- Saturday Weekend rotation every 8th weekend + PRN for Saturday and Sunday Urgent Care to add additional providers during winter months.
- Saturday Urgent Care open 8a-12p
- Sunday Urgent Care open 1p-5p
