About The Position
Integrity Urgent Care operates as part of the Xpress Wellness network of clinics. Integrity Urgent Care is a Texas-based Urgent care clinic with locations across the state, each of them dedicated to giving you the highest-quality affordable health care possible. As long as your problem isn’t life-threatening, we have you covered. We offer walk-in treatment for a variety of general illnesses, injuries, and infections, as well as general wellness services like physicals and pregnancy testing. Xpress Wellness is a rapidly expanding healthcare organization delivering high-quality, compassionate care through a network of urgent care clinics across Oklahoma and Kansas. Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner, preferably FNP, or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
- Active Kansas license, or ability to obtain
- DEA registration, or ability to obtain
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, bloodborne pathogen standards, and related requirements.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications, including internet use, email, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate both new and existing provider staff.
Nice To Haves
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience preferred but not required
- One year of experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent and episodic patient conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Perform procedures including laceration repair and splinting
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff
