This internship is anticipated to run for approximately three months, from June through August. While the internship does not guarantee future employment, candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree may be considered for full-time employment based on business needs, performance, and mutual interest. This position is part-time (approximately 20-25 hours per week), with schedules determined collaboratively between Rincon and the selected candidate. Hours may vary based on project needs and intern availability. This position will be based out of Rincon’s Los Angeles, with a flexible work arrangement that may include a mix of in-office and remote work depending on business needs. As an Urban Planning and Design Intern, you will support a variety of environmental and community planning projects across California. You will gain hands-on experience contributing to land use planning, urban design, and mobility planning efforts while working alongside Rincon’s Community Planning team. This role will involve supporting projects for a diverse range of clients, including cities, counties, transportation agencies, and private developers. It is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in applying urban planning and design principles in a consulting environment and gaining exposure to real-world projects.
