Urban Designer II

Toole Design Group LLCAtlanta, GA
$64,500 - $78,000Hybrid

About The Position

Design streets that move people—not just cars. At Toole Design, we’re leading the way in creating safer, more connected communities through sustainable multimodal transportation design. We’re looking for an Urban Designer II to join our team in Atlanta, GA, someone who’s excited to design beautiful public spaces and give people safe, comfortable, and accessible options to get where they need to go. We’re not just another firm, we’re a purpose-driven team of engineers, planners, landscape architects, and urban designers who believe streets should work for everyone. At Toole Design, you'll work alongside thought leaders and industry experts who are committed to mentoring and helping you grow your expertise. As an Urban Designer at Toole, you’ll help shape everything from visionary city plans to public spaces. You’ll work on design workshops, master plans, 3D models, graphics, and construction documents alongside a close-knit interdisciplinary team that’s passionate about creating great places for communities. The work is creative, collaborative, and always varied—one day you’re reimagining a corridor, the next you’re transforming an alleyway into a vibrant gathering space. You will have the opportunity to work both independently as well as a part of a diverse interdisciplinary team. We are targeting a salary range of $64,500 to $78,000 for this position. At Toole Design, we foster a collaborative culture and welcome people of all backgrounds to help build more inclusive communities. We strongly encourage women and applicants from underrepresented communities – people of color, LGBTQIA+, immigrants, first-generation college students/graduates, those with disabilities and people at all the intersections in between – to apply. We're proud that about half our managers are women and we are committed to diverse leadership that reflects the communities we serve. Toole Design is a woman-owned, equal opportunity employer (EO/AA/VEV/Disabled employer).
