About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional upright bass instructor to teach part-time at The Music Shop, in Boonton, New Jersey. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. This is an in-person teaching position.
Requirements
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Robust appreciation for punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
