About The Position

Breck School is seeking a Long Term Substitute Upper School Math Teacher to join their team. This role is responsible for organizing, implementing, and providing an educational program that fosters intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, and psychological growth in students. The teacher will be a part of the Math Department, aiming to develop students' mathematical confidence and curiosity, mentor them through learning challenges, and leverage mathematical thinking to foster social responsibility. This specific role will involve teaching AP Stats and Precalculus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with inquiry-based or student-centered instruction to foster curiosity and intellectual engagement.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and proficiency with subject matter.
  • Experience with using technology in teaching and learning.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 3 years classroom teaching experience preferred
