Rocky Mountain Prep (RMP) is seeking an Upper Elementary Literacy Interventionist for the 2026/2027 school year, with staff reporting for summer professional development in July 2026 and the school year beginning in August 2026. RMP is a network of schools dedicated to changing public education in Colorado by providing college access for historically marginalized students and families. They operate twelve college-preparatory schools and focus on investing in their educators through ongoing coaching, professional development, clear expectations, transparent feedback, and career advancement opportunities. RMP's approach to literacy intervention is focused on acceleration rather than remediation, believing that all scholars can become confident readers and writers with precise, data-driven instruction and identity-centered learning experiences. Through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, Literacy Interventionists deliver targeted Tier II and Tier III support, analyzing data to address challenges in decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. They design responsive lessons that build foundational skills alongside critical thinking, emphasizing scholar voice, discussion, and engagement with diverse texts. Interventionists work in partnership with families, teachers, and leaders to ensure aligned support for scholar growth. All teachers at RMP are expected to take ownership of student outcomes, build inclusive classrooms, collaborate with colleagues, and model RMP's PEAK values.
