Under moderate supervision, this role fabricates and installs upholstery, covers panels, and makes simple patterns for aircraft interiors using design/engineering drawings and aircraft specifications. The position requires performing technical upholstery functions within design, customer, FAA, and Gulfstream specifications. Specific installation and trim tasks must be completed in compliance with work order instructions and specifications. This includes fitting panels and windows, cabin headliners, upper sidewalls, lower side panels, hatch panels, windows, cutting and surging carpets, covering bulkheads, fabricating various metal parts, and covering and installing panels. The role also involves creating carpet patterns per design drawings and completing installation, using the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign off work. Other duties as assigned.
