The Upholstery Assembler position involves performing assembly of upholstered parts and/or mechanical and electromechanical component parts, ensuring all specifications are met to manufacture the highest quality product.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of safety
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with machine sewing
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience with hand tools
Responsibilities
- Understands and use the proper equipment to produce high quality upholstery; which includes performing side sewing.
- Analyzes rejected product, communicating this with the Lead Assembler and assisting in the problem resolution.
- Assembles various components using hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment ensuring that all specifications are being met to manufacture the highest quality product.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
