About The Position

Responsible for creating, repairing, and installing upholstery for boat interiors. Your role is crucial in ensuring the comfort and aesthetic appeal of our vessels. Design, fabricate, and repair upholstery including seats, cushions, headliners, and other fabric components.

Requirements

Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
Knowledge of programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for automating and controlling electrical systems.
Understanding of power distribution systems and their maintenance
Attention to detail.
Good Communication
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.

Nice To Haves

Extensive experience in upholstery or a related field.
Certifications in upholstery, sewing, or related technical skills.
In-depth knowledge of various upholstery materials, including vinyl, leather, fabric, and foam, and their appropriate uses.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

Use tools like sewing machines, staplers, and scissors to install new upholstery, ensuring a secure and precise fit.
Assess the condition of existing upholstery and develop plans for repair or replacement.
Perform maintenance on upholstery equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments.
