The Upholsterer will be responsible for stretching and securing fabric, vinyl, or other upholstery materials using hand tools and pneumatic staplers. This role involves applying foam, batting, webbing, springs, and other cushioning materials as required, and installing buttons and other decorative components to meet product specifications. The Upholsterer will also inspect furniture components for quality before and during assembly, identify and correct minor defects, and report quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor. The position requires operating hand tools, pneumatic tools, and upholstery equipment safely and efficiently, while maintaining production goals and ensuring workmanship meets company quality standards. Additionally, the Upholsterer must keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations, and follow all company policies, procedures, and workplace safety guidelines.
