About The Position

This is an unpaid internship for a Master's level social services clinical student. The internship will provide hands-on experience working under the direction of Licensed Therapists over a two-semester period. The internship is for the remaining 2026 year and requires a one-year commitment. The internship will take place at our Central Ave location.

Requirements

• Master's level social services clinical student.
• All background screenings (drug screening within 24 hours of acceptance, local/level II Federal, MVR, and employment verifications).
• Copy of current transcripts with acceptable GPA level.
• Signed agreement with college.
• Intern program guidelines from college for student.
• Copy of all signed documents between school/student and Suncoast Center.
• Screening through the Clearinghouse.
• Must adhere to Florida Statute 409.91256 and the TEACH program.
• Must comply with Suncoast Center, Inc drug-free workplace policy regarding marijuana use.

• Commitment for a full year is required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of Licensed Therapists.
• Complete a minimum of 20 hours per week over 3-5 days per week.
• Schedule onsite internship days/hours meeting 20 hours per week for the year.
• Complete a survey of your experience with Suncoast Center (encouraged).
