About The Position

To load and unload freight on company trucks with a radio frequency monitor (RF) in a timely, consistent manner.

High school diploma or GED
No prior experience required
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Basic, Technical, and Advanced knowledge level
Basic reading, writing, and clerical skills (ten-key, typing)
Basic mathematical skills (calculating, problem solving, projections, reasoning)
Basic mechanical skills (constructing, maintenance, repairing)
Ability to manually operate and use a computer and an RF handheld scanner
Ability to work required shifts and maintain attendance standards
Vision adequate for the incumbent to perform the responsibilities and functions of the job efficiently
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 75 lbs occasionally
Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, squat, kneel, and have dexterity and light grasping frequently
Ability to climb stairs occasionally
Ability to talk and hear
Must wear protective steel-toed shoes and other protective devices as deemed appropriate by management.

Load and unload merchandise using pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
Build pallets, pack merchandise neatly on pallets, and ensure heavy items are lowest on the pallet.
Shrink wrap pallets tightly and label them with the store number and bar code.
Move pallets using an electric or hand pallet jack to the staging area.
Sweep the floor and move pallets as part of cleanup.
Help in other areas of the warehouse when needed.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
