ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLASSIFIED SERVICE VACANCY The following vacancy exists in the classified service and may require eligibility from a competitive civil service list. The following vacancy is a continuous posting for a University Police Officer 1. The Human Resources Office accepts applications on a continuous basis for this title for departmental consideration as positions become available.
Requirements
- Reachable score on the Civil Service University Police Officer 1 exam list
- Permanent appointment with 1 year of service as a University Police Officer 1 at a SUNY
- Prior state service at a SUNY in the University Police Officer 1 title for reinstatement consideration
- Must meet at least one of the above requirements
- Candidates seeking consideration based on exam list eligibility must also respond to the active University at Albany canvass for this specific title
