About The Position

University of Wyoming Extension is offering part-time summer internship opportunities for individuals interested in working with Extension programs across the state. This position provides vital support to Extension programming and must be available to work at a selected UW Extension Office assigned to the internship. Interns are responsible for securing their own housing for the summer. Selected candidates must successfully complete a University of Wyoming background and motor vehicle check as a condition of employment. Interns also have the option to enroll in 1–4 academic credits through the University of Wyoming during the internship, but are responsible for any associated tuition costs. The course is listed as: Field Practicum: Ext Work AGRI 4520.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP and a willingness to drive to and from program locations and events

Responsibilities
