About The Position
The University Counselor will provide clinical evaluations, individual and group psychotherapy, crisis management, and mental health outreach to university students. This role also involves fostering relationships across the campus community.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Missouri
- 2 years of evidence-based psychotherapy experience
Nice To Haves
- Higher education counseling center background preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical evaluations, establish treatment plans, and provide culturally sensitive individual and group counseling for diverse student needs.
- Perform crisis interventions, evaluate acute situations using diagnostic criteria, and execute appropriate therapeutic safety protocols.
- Teach coping, relaxation, and wellness strategies.
- Support center marketing, social media posting, and outreach programming.
