About The Position

Pillar Bank is seeking a friendly, energetic Universal Teller to provide exceptional customer service, including efficient and accurate transaction processing. This full-time role involves contributing to the community and working for a locally owned bank that supports its community.

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Detail oriented and demonstrated high degree of accuracy
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to carry coin (or other materials) weighing up to 30 pounds to vault area
• Demonstrated ability to provide the highest quality of customer service in an efficient, professional and accurate manner consistent with Pillar Bank’s values and standards
• Experience with customer service

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 – 2 years previous teller and cash handling experience

Responsibilities

• Taking deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for customers
• Provide other services, such as prepaid cards, cashier’s checks, money orders, cashing bonds, etc.
• Provide assistance to current and prospective Bank customers for the purpose of selling Pillar Bank products and services and advising customers of account and banking service options available and also refers customers to other bank departments as appropriate for additional services
• Assists answering in-coming phone calls to respond to customer questions, problems and directs calls to other appropriate departments as needed
• Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations and laws including but not limited to, The Bank Secrecy Act. Understands compliance issues and attends training as it relates to the position
