About The Position

As a Universal Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for members, assisting them with their daily banking needs. This includes processing deposits and withdrawals, helping with loan payments, and issuing cashier’s checks, all while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The role also involves balancing daily transactions, collaborating with teammates, and performing various branch tasks to maintain smooth operations. Additionally, you may be required to assist with opening and closing accounts, updating member information, and providing general account support as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union
General knowledge of bank teller policies and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems

Responsibilities

Welcome members and help them with everyday banking needs
Process deposits and withdrawals
Assist with loan payments
Issue cashier’s checks
Ensure every transaction is accurate and efficient
Help balance daily transactions
Support teammates
Take on a variety of branch tasks to keep things running smoothly
Help open and close accounts (as needed)
Update member information (as needed)
Provide account support (as needed)
