About The Position

The Universal Operator role involves operating various heavy equipment such as Blade, GPS, Dozer, Mini X, Excavator, and Gannon's. Responsibilities include performing pre and post-operation inspections, securing equipment for transport, maintaining fluid levels, greasing points, keeping equipment clean, and completing daily inspection reports. The position requires the ability to work well with others and be available for night and weekend shifts if necessary. Candidates must meet minimum qualifications including passing drug screens and background checks, providing I-9 documentation, and proof of equipment training. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. The operator must be willing to travel and work away from home within Arizona, have their own transportation to various work sites, and possess specific tools like steel boots, finishing tools, nail bags, and tools for forming and finishing. Strict adherence to safety procedures is mandatory.

Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Pass a 7-year criminal background check
• Be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration Document
• Provide certificate or proof of training on equipment
• 3 years of experience is required
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
• Must have own transportation to various work sites within the state of Arizona
• Steel boots are required
• Strictly adhering to safety requirements and procedures
• Attention to detail and follow directions
• Must have own finishing tools
• Must have own nail bags and tools for forming and finishing

Responsibilities

• Experience with running Blade, GPS, Dozer, Mini X, Excavator, and Gannon's
• Perform pre and post operation inspection of equipment
• Uses proper techniques to secure equipment when in transport and tarp all loads
• Maintain fluid levels and grease all points as necessary and keep equipment clean from debris
• Completes daily inspection report and turns it in at end of shift
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Able to work well with others
• Ability to work night and weekends if necessary
