About The Position

The Universal Elite Banker is a highly skilled banking role that provides operational and member service support across multiple branch locations. This position requires strong credit union knowledge, the ability to perform nearly all branch functions, and the flexibility to transition smoothly between branch teams as needed. The West Region includes the following Financial Center Locations - Weatherford, Stephenville Granbury, Hudson Oaks, Chisholm Trail, Hulen Saginaw, Clifford, Little Road, Burleson and Northside. This position is responsible for deepening relationships with EECU members and developing new relationships by recommending needs-based products and services. The role primarily functions as a banker while also rotating as a teller when needed. The Universal Elite Banker supports members by resolving service needs, delivering specialized financial expertise, and creating an outstanding member experience. This position rotates among financial centers to provide teller and platform support during scheduled and unscheduled staffing shortages, including vacations, emergencies, leaves of absence, and other business needs. The role also assists financial center employees with member and operational issues and may directly supervise Financial Center employees when management is unavailable. This position requires flexibility and the ability to transition easily between roles and responsibilities. As a senior banker role, it includes higher approval limits and may assist with vault balancing and audits as needed. The position also serves as a subject matter expert in platform activities, including consumer and business accounts, loan interviewing, and loan processing. Responsibilities include a broad range of member service functions, such as teller transactions; opening business and consumer accounts, CDs, IRAs, and HSAs; using needs-based selling techniques; interviewing and processing loan applications; resolving complex member and operational issues; supporting marketing programs; and building strong member relationships through exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years or more of financial or related experience
  • High level of banking knowledge with the ability to perform all branch operational and member service functions
  • Proven experience in teller transactions, loan production, new accounts, CD/IRA and leadership

  • Attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training
