As a Universal Colleague / Medication Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of Assisted Living residents. This position offers a variety of responsibilities including resident care, dietary support, housekeeping, and medication management. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and enjoys working as part of a team dedicated to creating a positive living experience for our residents.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to complete Medication Manager certification if not currently certified
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in healthcare, assisted living, customer service, or caregiving preferred, but not required
- Medication Manager Certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents in a courteous and respectful manner
- Clear tables and assist with dining room cleanup
- Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness after meals
- Support dietary services as needed
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, and independence
- Escort residents to activities, appointments, and special events
- Provide companionship and support while encouraging engagement
- Perform light housekeeping duties and cleaning tasks as needed
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
- Assist with medication management responsibilities as permitted
- Complete Medication Manager certification if not already certified
- Follow medication administration policies and procedures to ensure resident safety
