The Universal Banker position is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies. This role delivers superior quality service by identifying and understanding client financial needs. The Universal Banker is cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. This role provides a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with a smile, facilitating courteous conversation, conducting both complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering client needs. They also educate clients on digital, self-service solutions to enhance their banking experience. The position supports the team sales process through client outreach and identifying client needs or opportunities. Understanding the importance of IRM is key to seamlessly delivering Truist expertise and solutions. The Universal Banker participates in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines and commits to advancing individual and product knowledge through training. They adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of all policy and procedure changes. Additionally, they serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
