The Universal Banker role involves assisting the branch in meeting performance standards, interviewing members, and processing applications for various consumer loans. This position requires conducting all member account functions, including processing requests for new services, providing counseling, and cross-selling credit union products. The Universal Banker will also assist members with opening and closing accounts, answer questions about products and services, and resolve problems within their authority, referring more complex issues to their supervisor. A key responsibility includes accurately handling monetary transactions, verifying cash and negotiable instruments, and balancing the input of transactions at the end of each workday. Regular and predictable attendance is essential, and additional duties may be assigned by the manager.
