Requirements

18 months of financial institution or similar industry experience in a retail branch environment.
A minimum of 6 months of experience opening new accounts.
Ability to actively cross-sell products & services.
Strong listening, verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of member information.

Nice To Haves

Ability to process consumer loans.

Responsibilities

Opening new accounts for existing members.
Accurately processing routine member account transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, wire transfers, official checks, gift cards, and cash advances.
Researching and resolving member inquiries and issues related to their accounts.
Conducting research on member accounts.
Cross-selling products and services that benefit members and tracking referred or sold items.
Supporting branch operations with end-of-day balancing by scanning checks.
Providing dual control to balance vault cash and card supplies.
Totaling branch cash and checking to ensure all confidential information is secure.
