The Universal Banker position is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies. This role delivers superior quality service by identifying and understanding client financial needs. The Universal Banker is cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. This role provides a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, facilitating courteous conversation, conducting complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering needs. They educate clients on digital, self-service solutions to enhance their banking experience. The Universal Banker supports the team sales process through outbound calls, checking client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities. They understand the importance of IRM to seamlessly deliver Truist expertise and solutions. This role participates fully in established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines and commits to advancing individual and product knowledge through training. They adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of all policy and procedure changes. The Universal Banker serves as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
