The role involves proactively and professionally greeting branch visitors and opening new accounts for existing members. A key part of the job is accurately processing various member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, wire transfers, official checks, gift cards, and cash advances. Additionally, the Universal Banker will research and resolve member inquiries and conduct research on member accounts. Sales is an important aspect, requiring team members to cross-sell beneficial services and track referred or sold products. Daily responsibilities include supporting branch operations through end-of-day balancing, scanning checks, providing dual control for vault cash and card supplies, and ensuring the security of confidential information by totaling branch cash.
