The Universal Banker position is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies. This role delivers superior quality service by identifying and understanding client financial needs. The Universal Banker is cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. This role ensures a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, facilitating courteous conversation, conducting complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering needs. They educate clients on digital, self-service solutions to enhance their banking experience. The Universal Banker supports the team sales process through client outreach via outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities. They understand the importance of IRM to seamlessly deliver Truist expertise and solutions. This role participates fully in established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines and commits to advancing individual and product knowledge through training. Adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies is crucial. The Universal Banker serves as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
