About The Position

This part-time Universal Banker position, requiring 20 hours per week, focuses on providing excellent client service through efficient transaction completion and identifying client needs. The role involves cross-training in sales and service activities, including outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM). The Universal Banker will educate clients on digital banking solutions, support the team's sales process, and adhere to operational procedures and risk management policies. This role also serves as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
  • Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included

Nice To Haves

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention
  • Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
  • General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, conducting complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering client needs.
  • Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions like ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking.
  • Support the team sales process through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
  • Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) principles to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
  • Participate in established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  • Commit to advancing individual and product knowledge by attending meetings and training.
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
  • Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
