About The Position

The Universal Banker position is a part-time role requiring 20 hours per week, with Saturday availability mandatory. This role involves providing timely and efficient client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper money handling. The position also focuses on delivering superior client service, identifying client financial needs, and supporting sales and service activities, including outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM). The Universal Banker will educate clients on digital banking solutions, participate in team sales processes, and adhere to operational procedures and risk management policies. Additionally, they will serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
  • Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included

Nice To Haves

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and protection
  • Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
  • General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities
