The Universal Banker position is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies. This role delivers superior quality service by identifying and understanding client financial needs. The Universal Banker is cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. This role provides a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with a smile, facilitating courteous conversation, and conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering needs. The Universal Banker educates clients on digital, self-service solutions and supports the team sales process through client outreach. They understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to seamlessly deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients' unique needs. This role participates fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines and commits to advancing individual and product knowledge. The Universal Banker adheres to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of all policy and procedure changes to ensure compliance. They serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
