About The Position

This part-time Universal Banker position, requiring 20 hours per week, focuses on providing timely and efficient client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper money handling. The role involves delivering superior client service, identifying client financial needs, and supporting sales and service activities, including outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM). The position is regular, requires English fluency, and operates on a 1st shift schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a desire to interact with clients and prospects
  • Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included

Nice To Haves

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention
  • Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
  • General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, conducting complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering needs.
  • Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions like ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking.
  • Support the team sales process through outbound calls, checking client offers, and identifying/fulfilling client needs or referring them to specialists.
  • Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) principles to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
  • Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  • Commit to continuous learning of individual and product knowledge through meetings and training.
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of changes.
  • Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
  • Handle a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.
