About The Position
SCU Credit Union is seeking a passionate Universal Banker to join their team. This role is crucial in building strong member relationships and supporting daily branch operations. The Universal Banker handles both member service and transaction functions, focusing on promoting Credit Union products while adhering to regulatory and security standards. The assigned branch location will be determined upon hiring.
Requirements
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of banking operations, products, and regulations
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to apply strong analytical skills in reviewing information and data
Responsibilities
- Build and deepen member relationships through proactive engagement and needs-based conversations
- Meet or exceed branch sales and service goals
- Process deposits, payments, and other banking transactions
- Educate members on digital banking tools and services
- Resolve account inquiries and provide exceptional service
- Refer members to appropriate specialists for additional services
- Support daily operations, branch opening/closing, and assist with loan processing
- Participate in community events and promote Credit Union services
