About The Position
This role provides comprehensive support in a banking environment, encompassing both teller and platform duties. The Universal Banker is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service by efficiently handling financial transactions, opening new accounts, and managing loan payments. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products and services, while also maintaining strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks. Additionally, the role involves supporting branch lending staff with clerical tasks and customer outreach, and contributing to community awareness to foster new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Provide teller and platform support to ensure quality customer service.
- Perform daily processing of financial transactions, including deposits, handling currency and coin, and cashing checks.
- Open accounts for new and existing clients by preparing paperwork, applications, and requesting necessary documentation and identification.
- Process and post various loan payments, record data, and issue receipts.
- Stay current with all bank products and services.
- Proactively consult with customers to identify and recommend product and service solutions.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with thoroughness and meticulous organizational skills.
- Assist branch lending staff with clerical work and customer outreach.
- Increase community awareness to enhance bank outreach and foster new business opportunities.
