About The Position

We are looking for an outgoing individual who loves working with people in the community and enjoys building relationships. This role is an opportunity to get your foot in the door for a career in banking, with comprehensive training provided. The primary focus is to take excellent care of our members, acting as the first friendly face they see upon entering the branch. Responsibilities include proactively and professionally acknowledging everyone who enters, accurately processing routine member account transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, wire transfers, official checks, gift cards, cash advances), researching and resolving member inquiries, and cross-selling services that would benefit members. A positive attitude when facing challenges is essential.

Requirements

Minimum of 12 months in the retail and/or service industry or 6 months in a financial institution, working in a branch environment.
Basic computer skills.
Strong listening, verbal communication, time management and organizational skills required.
Able to maintain the confidentiality of member information.

Responsibilities

Proactively and professionally acknowledging anyone who enters the branch.
Balancing checks and cash drawer.
Accurately processing routine member account transactions including, but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, wire transfers, official checks, gift cards, cash advances, etc.
Researching and resolving member inquiries on issues related to their accounts.
Conducting research on member accounts.
Cross-selling services that would benefit members.
Properly tracking products and services referred or sold.
Maintaining the confidentiality of member information.
