About The Position

Merck Sharp & Dohme Federal Credit Union (MSDFCU) is seeking a service-oriented, sales-minded professional to join our Harleysville Branch as a Universal Banker. In this role, you'll be the face of the Credit Union, helping members with their day-to-day banking needs while identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and provide meaningful financial solutions. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry
Cash handling experience
Strong sales, referral, and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Windows applications
Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration in accordance with SAFE Act requirements

Nice To Haves

Experience opening consumer deposit accounts
Consumer lending experience
Credit union experience
Knowledge of spreadsheet software

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional member service in every interaction
Open and maintain consumer deposit accounts
Conduct member needs assessments and recommend appropriate products and services
Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently
Assist members with consumer loans, including auto, personal, and home equity loans
Prepare loan documentation and conduct loan closings
Educate members on digital banking tools and self-service options
Resolve member concerns with professionalism and follow-through
Generate referrals and identify opportunities to strengthen member relationships
Contribute to branch sales, service, and operational goals
