The Universal Banker position is a regular, full-time role that requires English fluency and involves working the 1st shift. This role focuses on providing timely and efficient client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of monies. The Universal Banker will deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding client financial needs. The position also requires cross-training to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. The Universal Banker will engage clients with a smile, facilitate courteous conversation, conduct both complex and standardized transactions, and uncover client needs. They will also educate clients on digital, self-service solutions to enhance their banking experience. Supporting the team sales process involves client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities. Understanding IRM is crucial for seamlessly delivering Truist expertise and solutions. The role requires full participation in established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines and a commitment to advancing individual and product knowledge through training. Adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies is essential, as is staying informed of policy changes. The Universal Banker will serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
