About The Position

The Universal Banker PT (20hrs) - Collegeville Branch position is a regular, full-time role requiring English fluency and a 1st shift work schedule. The primary responsibilities include efficiently completing client transactions with accuracy, providing superior customer service, and identifying client financial needs. This role also involves supporting sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM). The position requires cross-training to assist with various branch operations and a commitment to continuous learning about products and services. Adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies is essential. The Universal Banker will also serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
  • Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included

Nice To Haves

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention
  • Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
  • General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs.
  • Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions (ATMs, Online, Mobile banking).
  • Support the team sales process through outbound calls, identifying client needs, and referring clients to appropriate specialists.
  • Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) principles.
  • Participate in established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  • Commit to advancing individual and product knowledge through training and meetings.
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
  • Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
