About The Position

The Universal Banker PT position is a regular, part-time role (20 hours per week) requiring English fluency. This role focuses on providing excellent client service by efficiently completing transactions, identifying client needs, and educating them on digital banking solutions. The position also involves supporting sales activities through outbound calling and assisting with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM). The Universal Banker will participate in leadership routines, commit to continuous learning of products and services, adhere to operational policies and risk management guidelines, and serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education
Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects
Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
Ability to multi-task under time constraints
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included

Nice To Haves

One year of client relationship building or sales experience
Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention
Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients, conducting complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering client needs.
Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions like ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking.
Support the team sales process through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying/fulfilling client needs or referring them to specialists.
Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) principles to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
Participate in established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
Commit to advancing individual and product knowledge by attending relevant meetings and training.
Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services.
