Universal Banker II
About The Position
Troy Bank and Trust is seeking a courteous, reliable, and friendly full-time Universal Banker to support their mission by providing outstanding customer service while building strong customer relationships. The Universal Banker II will act as the Customer Ambassador for the bank, providing quality and efficient personalized banking services. The primary role involves supporting customer engagement by opening new deposit accounts, performing in-depth customer service research, and identifying opportunities to educate and recommend products and services. This role also processes consumer and business banking transactions, including balance inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing, while providing basic account information. The initial months will require working at the Cary Creek and Tiger Town branches, with a transition to the Phenix City branch before year-end.
Requirements
- 1-3 years banking or finance experience preferred.
- High school diploma.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer satisfaction oriented.
- Solid working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Demonstrated skill in accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven dedication to excellence and achieving results.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Reliable, motivated, and organized.
- Team oriented with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
- Listen to customer needs and match those needs to the most beneficial services.
- Resolve customer issues and provide relevant information.
- Prepare documentation related to deposit accounts and other bank products.
- Perform routine teller transactions.
- Comply with regulatory requirements.
- Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses.
- Perform branch administration support tasks.
- Perform Universal Banker II duties at any Troy Bank & Trust location as assigned.
