About The Position

The Universal Banker is a position that effectively provides excellent customer service by performing multiple tasks including, but not limited to, teller transactions, opening new accounts, and clerical support for various departments.

Requirements

Proficient in cash handling, basic transaction processing, and customer service.
Advanced Mathematic Skills
Customer Service Driven
Advanced knowledge of banking products and services
Ability to identify a customer need and recommend appropriate products or services
Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft
Advanced knowledge of regulations and policies
Ability to perform all Teller I Functions
Open basic accounts (Checking, Savings, ILUTMA, DBA)
Perform all Debit Card functions
Open consumer CD's
Assist customers with online banking needs
Ability to perform all Universal Banker Trainee Functions
Advanced knowledge of account opening procedures
Open Business Accounts and CD's
Open Estate and Rep Payee accounts
Working knowledge of IRA accounts
Ability to navigate online banking platform
High-quality customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented
Solid communication skills which include verbal, written, and listening skills
Desire to expand product knowledge and procedural skills
Ability to read and comprehend legal and regulatory material related to the job area
High school education with additional training preferred
Customer service experience or banking experience preferred
