About The Position

A Universal Banker Float serves customers at both a teller window and a customer service desk, adapting to customer needs. The primary role is to engage customers in conversations, understand their financial needs, and offer suitable bank solutions to promote Financial Well-Being in a friendly, ethical, and efficient manner. Universal Bankers will process deposits and withdrawals accurately, balance daily operations, and may be required to travel. Hours vary and include Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service and Sales.
  • Educate customers on solutions that meet their needs, including new accounts, services, and digital offerings.
  • Make complete recommendations to ensure the Financial Well-Being of the customer (cross-selling).
  • Engage customers by following up through onboarding or campaigns.
  • Maintain accounts by changing addresses and names; order checks and close accounts as needed.
  • Assist customers by answering financial questions, identifying potential fraud, and explaining bank services and service charges.
  • Open/Close Night Drop with dual control processes for various Night-Drop and mail.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.
