About The Position

Public Safety Credit Union (PSCU) is seeking a motivated, service-oriented professional to join their team as a Universal Agent. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with members, solving problems, and helping people move forward financially. Universal Agents support a wide range of branch operations, from teller services to account opening and consumer lending support, ensuring members receive consistent, high-quality service at every interaction. The ideal candidate is a member-focused communicator who is friendly, patient, and solutions-oriented. They should be proactive with a strong sense of urgency, tech-comfortable, and eager to promote digital banking adoption. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of financial services or cash-handling experience preferred
  • Consumer lending experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of HELOC processes is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for member service
  • Comfort with technology and willingness to support digital banking tools
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • NMLS eligibility & Notary eligibility

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional member service through accurate and friendly in-person, phone, and digital support
  • Process daily teller transactions, including cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers
  • Open and maintain deposit accounts including checking, savings, certificates, IRAs, business accounts, and safe deposit boxes
  • Assist members with debit and credit card needs, including activation, PIN resets, disputes, and replacements.
  • Support members experiencing fraud or dispute situations and follow established resolution procedures
  • Assist with incoming wire transfer instructions and ensure timely, accurate processing
  • Originate and process consumer loans and assist members with HELOC applications and documentation
  • Proactively educate members about products, services, and digital banking tools to support their financial goals
  • Maintain compliance with credit union policies, regulations, and security procedures
  • Support team needs and branch staffing by working at both PSCU locations as required
