About The Position

At the MUSC Wellness Center, student employees assist in supervising the fitness areas to ensure the safety and enhance the experience of our members. This is a temporary employee position with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC - Univ) in the ESL Wellness Center cost center. The role involves hourly pay and a scheduled weekly hour commitment of 20.

Requirements

• Must be a current student at the Medical University of South Carolina.
• Must have or be able to obtain CPR/AED certification within 60 days of being hired.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the weight room and cardio area to ensure the safety of members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to members by addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues that may come up.
• Assist with cleaning the exercise equipment at the MUSC Wellness Center.
• Assist members in checking out equipment to fulfill their exercise and recreation requirements.
• Assist in opening and closing the facility as per shift requirements.
• Perform any additional tasks as required.
