About The Position
A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing supportive patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for assisting the RN in the provision of patient care and tending to the unit needs as assigned by the RN.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and multitask.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Courteous and empathetic demeanor.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of nursing supportive patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assisting the RN in the provision of patient care.
- Tending to the unit needs as assigned by the RN.
