Requirements

  • High School degree and equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience in manufacturing discipline.
  • Microsoft office knowledge
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong problem -solving and conflict management skills
  • Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate Ford+ (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead MP&L team resolutions of part constraints impacting Receiving, Picking/Packing and material kit delivery to production floor.
  • Lead initiatives that positively influence inventory control and scheduling stability.
  • Support work groups to resolve DCV build critical part supply issues.
  • Lead/Coach Manufacturing behaviors within the MP&L Prototype process.
  • Prioritize key issues and allocate appropriate MP&L hourly floor resource.
  • Monitor/manage overtime of all hourly resources.
  • Conduct transparent and value driven partnership discussions with direct reports and hold employees accountable.
  • Strong ability to interface with Plant hourly (Unionized workforce), salaried personal, plant management, staff operations, logistic carriers, and parts suppliers.
  • Ensure Safety, Quality and productivity standards are met.
  • Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
