About The Position
A partnership between AtlantiCare and Select Medical, our 60-bed medical rehabilitation hospital will open later this year and serve patients in southeastern New Jersey. Led by a physiatrist – a physician board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation – our team includes rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists; dietitians; case managers and other clinical and support staff.
Requirements
- Proficient computer skills required
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year of clerical experience in a medical setting
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs clerical functions for the nursing unit, including record keeping, maintenance of logs, and chart organization.
- Notifies the nursing staff and/or nurse manager in a timely manner of pertinent patient information, including physician orders, laboratory or test results, and communication from other departments.
