About The Position

Barnes Jewish Hospital is seeking a Unit Secretary to work part time nights in the Multidisciplinary ICU. This role performs clerical duties supporting the operations of the patient care team. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)

Nice To Haves

• Part time nights in the Multidisciplinary ICU
• Schedule: nights (24 hr week). Rotating every third weekend (Sat/Sun)

Responsibilities

• Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support.
• Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail.
• Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures.
• Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.
